St Kitts and Nevis, the pioneer of the Caribbean Citizenship by Investment program established in 1984, introduced this initiative to drive economic growth and develop both the private and public sectors. The program grants foreign investors permanent legal citizenship and a second passport within 4 to 6 months, backed by a strong international reputation for issuing second citizenship. However, it is not open to nationals from Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, and Russia. Applicants can obtain citizenship through four pathways: the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC), investment in approved real estate projects, the Private Home Sale Investment option, or the Public Benefit Option.
